Revamped into a stunning retro sci-fi style lamp, this rare vintage 1940s Argus 150 8mm projector has been given a new lease on life. The original brown/beige paint has been stripped down to bare metal and replaced with a high gloss burgundy finish. The projector has been re-wired and fitted with two chrome adjustable flexible light fittings, each holding an oversized mirrored Edison globe bulb with a lovely spiral filament producing a warm glow. The original light fitting inside the projector has also been replaced and now emits a mysterious red glow from the lens and vent on top.
 
With an approximate height of 28cm, width of 36cm, and length of 50cm (based on the adjustable lights positioned as shown in the photos), this lamp is a unique statement piece for any space.
 
The vintage Edison style LED bulbs are energy-efficient and long-lasting with up to 30,000 hours of lifespan. The lamp is also equipped with a burgundy braided flex cable, an inline switch, and a 3amp British plug. All fittings are genuine British parts, hand-wired to a high professional standard.
 
As an original vintage item, there may be natural wear and tear that only adds to the character of the lamp.
