This genuine 1950s Kodak Brownie Flash III box camera has been thoughtfully upcycled into a characterful tripod lamp, giving a classic photographic icon a new life while preserving all of its original vintage charm.
 
The camera is mounted on a beautiful small vintage red and chrome tripod base, creating a distinctive piece that would sit beautifully in a study, living room, office, creative workspace, or photography lover’s home. Its combination of glossy black camera body, red tripod legs, polished chrome details and warm amber light gives it a wonderfully nostalgic yet industrial feel.
 
The lamp is fitted with a vintage-style chrome light fitting and a dimmable Edison-style LED bulb with a spiral filament, casting a warm, atmospheric glow that perfectly complements the camera’s mid-century character.
 
It has been fully rewired with a vintage-style braided cable flex, combining timeless design with modern safety and reliability. The included Edison-style LED bulb is energy efficient, using up to 90% less energy than traditional incandescent bulbs, while offering an impressive lifespan of up to 30,000 hours.
 
Each lamp is carefully assembled in our workshop with close attention to detail. This piece has also been PAT tested for safety.
